As we transition from the Thanksgiving holiday, we resume our conversation on the Gospel of Luke. In chapters 18 & 19 Jesus encounters three people: a rich ruler, a blind man, and a chief tax collector. Each one has a unique experience with Jesus.
1. Why was it so hard for the rich ruler to let go of his wealth?
2. What do you think is significant about Jesus’ encounter with the blind man?
3. How does Zacchaeus provide us with a perfect illustration of repentance? Discuss Jesus’ mission to “seek and save the lost.”
